Kurt Pepple
Construction Site Supervisor
Kurt grew up in Indiana where during his junior year of High School he developed his love for building homes. He later served in the Navy and retired as a Chief after 20 years of Honorable Service. Before retiring, he went into the DoD Skill Bridge program and participated in the Home Builders Institute’s (HBI) Pre-Apprenticeship Program. While there he got the opportunity to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads and knew that he wanted to be a part of HFHSHR’s mission and continue to serve the community of South Hampton Roads. “I enjoy seeing the homeowner's faces as they come to the job site. You can see a weight has been lifted off their shoulders. Our Red Hat crew is amazing and without them, the volunteers, and our donors, none of this would be possible.” Kurt currently serves as a Construction Site Supervisor with Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads.
