Diane Hruska

Diane became involved with Habitat for Humanity in 2017 when our current Executive Director was the Board President.  Yes, Diane is also known as Frank’s wife.

She started volunteering in 2017, assisting with Habitat SHR’s building maintenance and mowing the grass.  She assisted in cleaning the construction sites on Sunday afternoons and helped in the office as an administrative assistant when needed.  She was named Habitat SHR Volunteer of the Year for 2022.

Diane is passionate about Habitat’s mission, when the opportunity arose to work as the Home Repair Administrator, she resigned from her teacher’s assistant position at Landstown High School.  She truly enjoyed her 17 years at Landstown but wanted to officially join the Habitat SHR staff and assist low-income homeowners in returning their homes to safe, warm, and dry conditions.

Diane earned her Associate in Business Administration from Tidewater Community College.
