We're moving along on our build out in Suffolk. In the past couple of weeks, we have "weathered" in the home by finishing the sheathing with Zip system board, no house wrap needed. Our volunteers also got the exterior doors set and all the windows installed.
Our brick mason has started on the brick apron, being made possible by the generous support of Birdsong Peanuts sponsor of the build. Their sponsorship is helping to ensure the house fits the neighborhood whose homes are built primarily with brick.
Today, our staff and volunteers are being trained on how to install Hardie-siding, so we look forward to seeing how it looks once installed.
