Larissa is now on the right side of the tracks – with Habitat!
Larissa and her son, Trent, were selected in 2012. In addition to raising Trent, Larissa, works at Eggleston with seniors with intellectual disabilities, is a college student working toward her Bachelor’s degree, and a soccer mom who has lived in mainly in Hampton Roads for the past 20 years. The last few years Larissa has had a few roommates and has lived close to Oceana.
Trent is a precocious four year old little boy who lives and breathes trains. His new home is not near railroad tracks, but they surely will visit the train museum in between the times that Trent is playing with his trains or at soccer practice.
When Larissa thinks about the family life she and Trent will have at Level Green she says, "Consistency, stability and routine are the foundation of a good productive life." She knows living at Level Green the mortgage fits her budget and she will be able to provide the stability for herself and Trent to thrive. A smile comes over Larissa’s face as she talks about moving in. Trent has already said, "he will move his toys here" and Larissa is excited that after they move in, Trent will start to learn his new address – "one that he will remember, most likely for the rest of his life." Larissa still remembers her home address from when she was five.
This two bedroom will be a perfect home for this young family.
