When you shop at jcpenney stores and or online during the month of May
you can support Habitat for Humanity. At checkout, associates will invite you to round up to the nearest dollar - donating your change to Habitat for Humanity International to build strong communities. The fundraising campaign is part of jcpenney's charitable giving program, jcp cares.
Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and renovates simple, decent houses with the help of homeowner families here in South Hampton Roads and around the world.

Multiple site locations are in need of dedicated volunteers - log into Volunteer Connect and view the sites. It is super easy - select your time and show up!
Haven't volunteered with us before, but want to? Take a few minutes to create your Volunteer Up profile. Our next orientation will be held June 8, 9am.

Currently Accepting Eligibility Forms
Forms are available online, at Habitat SHR Office (900 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, 23504) or at any General Store Location. Store locations are Va. Beach (Providence Square Shopping Center), Norfolk (900 Tidewater Drive) and Portsmouth (6217 Portsmouth Blvd.).

Build Your Team with Habitat: Team Building Opportunities Available
Make a $1,500 contribution to Habitat SHR and your team can have a "Team Build Day with Habitat" and be provided the following benefits:
- You will have choice of a work day on our construction calendar (Wednesday, Friday or Saturday);
- One of our construction experts will work exclusively with your group;
- Lunch and beverages will be provided;
- Habitat’s web site will publicize your corporate/group support;
- Habitat will accommodate your group of up to 15 people;
- You will receive a picture of your group on the work site.
