You can sign up to volunteer with Habitat SHR through Volunteer Up.
- Click on the VolunteerUP button (at left).
- Next, click "Register" and complete the volunteer profile.
- Please include all of your contact information – especially your email address – because this is how we will communicate with you. Once you've registered, you can go directly to the calendar page, or log back in any time to see all the areas where volunteers are needed.
- At the calendar page, click "Sign Up" for the project and day you want.
The "My Info" link will give you access to your profile if you need to update your contact information, along with access to a report of your commitments and volunteer hours.
We are very excited about this system and feel that it will greatly increase the efficiency of our volunteer program. If you have any questions, or encounter any problems using the system, please email our volunteer manager or call 640-0590.
"A Brush With Kindness" (ABWK) is a new program within our affiliate. This unique program allows groups like yours - church, business and community groups to volunteer and financially support short term home-repair projects for low-income and elderly - homeowners, while providing an opportunity to make a lasting impact. The concept of the program is to connect the right people (those with a need and those who can help) and rejuvenate homes with...you got it...a brush of kindness.
