A great big thank you goes out to the Hampton Roads Chapter of the Naval Academy Alumni Association for hosting the Fifth Annual Habitat for Heroes Golf Tournament. The event was held on September 20th – and it was a beautiful day for golf at the Sewells Point Golf Course! This event has raised nearly $150,000 to date, including a highest-ever $46,000 this year! In the spirit of the Habitat model of a “Hand-up; Not a Hand-out,” all proceeds will help fund building homes for veteran families in Hampton Roads. Special thanks go to the Planning Committee that included Committee Chair Stan Bryant; Craig Quigley, Dick Enderly, Ken Marks, Bill Cox, Bob Perry, Jim Ireland and Alexandra Serrano.
