A Veterans Day SALE-ebration

| Posted on 11 November, 2014

Each year on November 11, we commemorate the brave men and women who protect our country and preserve our freedom. Veterans Day provides us with an opportunity to publicly acknowledge the contributions of all military personnel who have served during times of war and peace – honoring them for their sacrifice, dedication, and continued heroism.

At Habitat SHR, we are committed to honoring the Veteran community each day through our Habitat for Heroes initiative, which helps to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for Veteran and active-duty military families in our community. We believe that our heroes — who selflessly serve our country to ensure our safety — deserve to return to a safe and secure home.

What can you do to help? We’re so glad you asked…

You can shop. That’s right, TODAY, we are kicking off our ReStore Veterans Day & Pre-Black Friday Sale – 40% OFF THE ENTIRE STORE! We ask that you celebrate Veterans Day by shopping at one of our three ReStores in Norfolk and Virginia Beach – where 100% of all sales support Habitat SHR’s housing programs, which includes our Veterans initiative. Visit us TODAY and contribute to our efforts to eradicate poverty housing in South Hampton Roads.

Happy Veterans Day!

You really should post some All Sales Are Final signs in your stores. After buying BRAND NEW stair ballisters that ended up being the wrong size, I was unable to swap them for the proper size the next day. No signs anywhere and no mention on any receipt either. Shady practice, essentially forced a donation, and you will eventually sell the returned ballisters again anyhow. I get you want to make donations stretch but this is the wrong way to do it.
